Small Business Development Act CAP. 318C

DECLARATION OF APPROVED SMALL BUSINESS (GRT INVESTMENTS INC.) ORDER, 2025

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 4 of the

Small Business Development Act, makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Declaration of Approved Small

Business (GRT Investments Inc.) Order, 2025.

• For the purposes of the Small Business Development Act, Cap. 318C,

GRT Investments Inc., a company incorporated under the  Companies Act, Cap. 308 as Company No. 29722, the registered office of which is located at

# 66 Lodge Crescent in the parish of Saint Michael, is declared to be an approved small business.

• GRT Investments Inc. is granted the following incentives in respect

of its business:

• exemption from import duty on raw materials and plant and equipment imported for use in the business;
  • exemption from withholding tax on dividends and interest earned on any investment in an approved small business or in any fund approved for investment in small businesses;
  • exemption from the payment of stamp duty under the Stamp Duty Act, Cap. 91 on all documents related to the business, where the registration of those documents is required by law; and

• a deduction of corporation tax of an amount equal to 20 per cent of the actual expenditure incurred in respect of the use of technology, market research and any other activity that is, in the opinion of the Revenue Commissioner, directly related to the development of the business.

Miscellaneous Controls Act CAP. 329

MISCELLANEOUS CONTROLS (CONTROL OF PRICES) (GENERAL) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 6) REGULATIONS, 2025

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the

Miscellaneous Controls Act, makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Miscellaneous Controls

(Control of Prices) (General) (Amendment) (No. 6) Regulations, 2025.

2.                        The Schedule to the Miscellaneous Controls (Control of Prices)

(General) Regulations, 2015 (S.I. 2015 No. 76) is amended by deleting the following items:

“Diesel Fuel” “Gasolene” “Kerosene”; and

“Liquefied Petroleum Gas”

appearing in the first column of the Schedule under the Article “PETROLEUM PRODUCTS” and all the words appearing opposite thereto in the columns marked “WHOLESALE PRICE” and “RETAIL PRICE” and substituting therefor the items set out in the Schedule to these Regulations, together with the wholesale and retail prices set out in respect of those items.

• These Regulations shall come into operation on the 8th day of

September, 2025.
