Constitution of Barbados
ELECTION OF PRESIDENT NOTICE, 2025
The Deputy Speaker, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 32(11) of the Constitution of Barbados, gives the following Notice:
- This Notice may be cited as the Election of President Notice, 2025.
- The Hon. Miss Mia Amor Mottley, S.C., M.P., Prime Minister, and Mr. Ralph A. Thorne, K.C., M.P., Leader of the Opposition, have jointly nominated Lieutenant Colonel the Most Honourable Jeffrey Davidson Bostic, FB, MVO for election to the office of President of Barbados.
- The election will take place at a joint meeting of both Houses on the 7th day of October, 2025 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon at the Parliament of Barbados, Parliament Buildings, Trafalgar Street in the parish of Saint Michael.
