Supreme Court of Judicature Act CAP. 117A

SUPREME COURT (MASTER OF THE HIGH COURT) (SALARY) ORDER, 2025

The President, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 69E of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act, makes the following Order:

1.              This Order may be cited as the Supreme Court (Master of the   High

Court) (Salary) Order, 2025.

2.(1)

The Master of the High Court shall be paid a salary and allowances at

the rate specified in the Schedule.

(2)     The payment of emoluments referred to in paragraph (1) shall commence

on the dates specified in the Schedule.

3.              The  Supreme  Court  (Master  of  the  High  Court)  (Salary) Order,

2023 (S.I. 2023 No. 17) is revoked.

PUBLIC SERVICE (PART-TIME OFFICERS) ORDER, 2025

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 13(1) of the Public Service Act, makes the following Order:

  1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service (Part-Time Officers)

Order, 2025.

  • The offices specified in the first column of the Schedule are

established offices.

  • There are attached to the offices specified in the first column of the

Schedule  the  emoluments  set  out  in  the  second  and  third  columns  of  the

Schedule.

4.(1)

The emoluments set out in the second column of the Schedule   shall

be payable on 1st April, 2023.

(2)     The emoluments set out in the third column of the Schedule shall be payable

on 1st April, 2024.

5.(1)

Subject to sub-paragraph (2), the President may appoint to the offices

specified in the first column of the Schedule such part-time officers as she considers necessary.

(2)     The number of part-time officers appointed under sub-paragraph (1) may

not  at  any  time  exceed  the  number  specified  in  the  fourth  column  of the

Schedule.

  • Where the emoluments of an established office referred to in this

Order are on a scale divided into segments by the symbol “:”, an officer holding any such office is not entitled to the emoluments of the scale beyond the point at which the symbol appears except on such conditions as the President determines in relation to offices of that class.

Judges Remuneration and Pensions Act CAP. 115A

JUDGES (REMUNERATION AND PENSIONS) (CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND ALLOWANCES) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS, 2025

The President, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 16 of the Judges Remuneration and Pensions Act, makes the following Regulations:

  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Judges (Remuneration and

Pensions) (Conditions of Service and Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025.

2. The Judges (Remuneration and Pensions) (Conditions of Service and Allowances) Regulations, 1969 (S.I. 1969 No. 196) in these Regulations referred to as the principal Regulations, is amended by deleting paragraph (b) of regulation 15 and substituting the following:

“(b) to be paid a transport allowance at the following rate:

  • $12,583.16, with effect from 1st April, 2022;
    • $12,960.66 with effect from 1st April, 2023; and
    • $13,349.48 with effect from 1st April, 2024.”.

3. The principal Regulations are amended by inserting immediately after regulation 18 the following:

Telephone allowance

18A. A telephone allowance shall be paid to the holders of the judicial offices set out in the Schedule at the rates, corresponding to each office, as specified in the Schedule.”.

The Schedule to the principal Regulations is deleted and the Schedule as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations is substituted.
