DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL
OFFICER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR ROAD
TRAFFIC UNDER REGULATION 88
OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS, 1984

  1. These directions may be cited as the Road Traffic (Barbados Rally Club, “BRC Winter Rally Event”) Directions, 2025.
  2. The following roads will be closed during the specified periods:
    On Sunday October 26, 2025
    (a)
    Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the parish of Saint Lucy, the section of the road known as Luke Hill on the Oxford/Mount Gay Road, commencing from its junction with Charles Duncan O’neal Highway, proceeding in an easterly direction on said Oxford/Mount Gay Road, continuing in an easterly direction to Alexandra, proceeding in a westerly direction on Cottage Road and finishing at its junction with Highway lC.

(b)
Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the parish of Saint Peter, the section of road known as Four Hill, commencing from the said Four Hill Road at the junction with Indian Ground Road, proceeding in a southerly then westerly direction along Four Hill Road, continuing north-easterly then easterly on the Orange Hill Road (Sailor Gully), continuing in a northerly then north- westerly direction on French Village/Mount Brevitor Road and finishing 200m before French Village.

  1. Any person who contravenes these directions or fails to comply with the orders given by a member of the Barbados Police Service in uniform commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.
  2. These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Fire Service or any Ambulance Service.
