DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE MINISTER  RESPONSIBLE  FOR ROAD

TRAFFIC UNDER REGULATION 88 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, 1984

1. These directions may be cited as the Road Traffic (Vaucluse Raceway Motor Sport Club Inc. “Barbados Motorsport Island Stages Rally 2023”) Directions, 2023.

• The following roads will be closed during the specified period:

On Sunday November 26, 2023

(a) Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the parish of Saint Joseph and Saint George the section of road known as Orange Grove, commencing from the junction with Bowling Alley Hill, proceeding in a southerly direction on Easy Hall road, continuing southerly on Wilson Hill road, proceeding in a south westerly direction onto Clayburn Road, continuing in a westerly direction to Sweetvale road and finishing in a south westerly direction at Redland road.

• Any person who contravenes these directions or fail to comply with the orders given by a member of the Barbados Police Service in uniform, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.

• These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Barbados Police Service, the Fire Service or any Ambulance Service.
