Land (Adjudication of Rights and Interests) Act CAP. 228A

LAND (ADJUDICATION OF RIGHTS AND INTERESTS) (DECLARATION OF REGISTRATION DISTRICT) ORDER, 2021

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 10 of the Land (Adjudication of Rights and Interests) Act, makes the following Order:

  1. This Order may be cited as the Land (Adjudication of Rights andInterests) (Declaration of Registration District) Order, 2021.
  2. In this Order “Regulations” means the Land (Adjudication of Rightsand Interests) Regulations, 1988 (S.I. 1988 No. 73).
  3. The area described in the First Schedule and delineated in the SecondSchedule is hereby declared a registration district for the purposes of the adjudication of all titles to land and all rights and interests over land within that district in accordance with the Act and the Regulations.
  4. The presentation of claims or applications respecting title to land or

rights or interests over land shall commence 28 days after the publication of this Order in the manner prescribed by the Regulations.

FIRST SCHEDULE

(Paragraph 3)

ALL THAT area of land situate in the parish of Christ Church, commencing at the Edwy Talma Roundabout in a westerly direction along the ABC highway through the Errol W. Barrow Roundabout to the Garfield Sobers Roundabout then in an easterly direction along Highway 6, to the junction of Highway 6 and Warners, then continuing eastward along Highway 6 to the junction of Highway 6 and Kendal Hill, then in a southerly direction to the Edwy Talma Roundabout, comprising Warners, Warners Gardens, Warners Park, Warners Terrace, Sergeants Village, Bartletts Tenantry, Brownes Gap, Smith Corner, Apple Grove, Graeme Heights Development, Graeme Hall, Tino Terrace, Vauxhall, Vauxhall Gardens, Sunset Gardens, Briar Hall, Barrack Hill and Wotton Plantation.

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section 3 of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2021, (Act 2021–22) it is provided that the said Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation:

AND WHEREAS section 14 of the said Act came into operation on the 11th day of October, 2021:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the remainder of the said Act shall come into operation on the 30th day of November, 2021:

NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 30th day of November, 2021 as the day on which the said Act shall come into operation.
