RESOLVED that Parliament in accordance with section 5 of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act, Cap. 225 approve the vesting in the National Housing Corporation of the parcel of land situate at Worthing in the parish of Christ Church in this Island more particularly described in the Schedule.

ALL THAT land the property of the State situate at Worthing in the parish of Christ Church in this Island formerly said to contain by admeasurement 14669 square metres but found by a recent survey to contain by admeasurement 1.890 hectares (18909.5 square metres) or thereabouts inclusive of 1346.2 square metres in road abutting and bounding on lands now or formerly of Graeme Hall Plantation on the sea on lands now or late of Svetiana Dowell-Williams et al on lands now or late of Glenis K. Clarke on lands now or late of Annie Lynch on lands now or formerly of R. T. Hardware Limited and on a sidewalk which separates the said lands from Highway 7 which leads to Hastings in one direction and to St. Lawrence Gap in the other direction or however else the same may abut and bound as shown and delineated on a plan certified on the 6th day of January, 2020 by Alex R. Chandler, Land Surveyor and recorded in the Lands and Surveys Department as Plan No. 68/2020.

OBJECTS AND REASONS

This Bill is the Final Appropriation Bill in respect of the Financial Year which ended on the 31st March 2019 and would provide for the grant out of the Consolidated Fund of the sum of $429,466,399 and for the appropriation of that sum for the services and purposes specified in the Schedule.

A Bill entitled

An Act to grant an additional sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund and to appropriate the same for the services of the Island for the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2019.

WHEREAS the sum of money granted out of the Consolidated Fund by the Appropriation Act, 2018 for the services of the Island for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2019 has proved insufficient to meet the demands for such services;

AND WHEREAS certain Resolutions were passed during the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2019 granting additional sums out of the Consolidated Fund for the services of that year, and it is deemed expedient to appropriate the same in the manner hereinafter mentioned;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Final Appropriation (2018-2019) Act, 2022.
    Supplementary grant of $429,466,399
  2. The Accountant General may, on the warrant of the Minister or some person authorised by the Minister in writing, issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply for making good the sums granted for the supply of services for the year ended 31st March, 2019, the sum of four hundred and twenty-nine million, four hundred and sixty-six thousand, three hundred and ninety-nine dollars.
    Date on which grant takes effect
  3. The sum granted by this Act shall be deemed to have been granted on the 1st April, 2018 in addition to the sum granted by the Appropriation Act, 2018.
    Appropriation of sum granted
  4. The sum granted by this Act out of the Consolidated Fund for making good the sums granted for the purpose specified in section 2 shall be deemed to have been appropriated from 1st April, 2018 for the purposes specified in the Schedule.

    OBJECTS AND REASONS
    This Bill is the Final Appropriation Bill in respect of the Financial Year which ended on the 31st March, 2020 and would provide for the grant out of the Consolidated Fund of the sum of $175,092,593 and for the appropriation of that sum for the services and purposes specified in the Schedule.

A Bill entitled

An Act to grant an additional sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund and to appropriate the same for the services of the Island for the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2020.

WHEREAS the sum of money granted out of the Consolidated Fund by the Appropriation Act, 2019 for the services of the Island for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2020 has proved insufficient to meet the demands for such services;

AND WHEREAS certain Resolutions were passed during the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2020 granting additional sums out of the Consolidated Fund for the services of that year, and it is deemed expedient to appropriate the same in the manner hereinafter mentioned;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Final Appropriation (2019-2020) Act, 2022.
    Supplementary grant of $175,092,593
  2. The Accountant General may, on the warrant of the Minister or some person authorised by the Minister in writing, issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply for making good the sums granted for the supply of services for the year ended 31st March, 2020 the sum of one hundred and seventy-five million and ninety-two thousand, five hundred and ninety-three dollars.
    Date on which grant takes effect
  3. The sum granted by this Act shall be deemed to have been granted on the 1st April, 2019 in addition to the sum granted by the Appropriation Act, 2019.
    Appropriation of sum granted
  4. The sum granted by this Act out of the Consolidated Fund for making good the sums granted for the purpose specified in section 2 shall be deemed to have been appropriated from 1st April, 2019 for the purposes specified in the Schedule.

    OBJECTS AND REASONS
    This Bill is the Final Appropriation Bill in respect of the Financial Year which ended on the 31st March, 2021 and would provide for the grant out of the Consolidated Fund of the sum of $594,210,935 and for the appropriation of that sum for the services and purposes specified in the Schedule.

A Bill entitled

An Act to grant an additional sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund and to appropriate the same for the services of the Island for the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2021.

WHEREAS the sum of money granted out of the Consolidated Fund by the Appropriation Act, 2020 for the services of the Island for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2021 has proved insufficient to meet the demands for such services;

AND WHEREAS certain Resolutions were passed during the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2021 granting additional sums out of the Consolidated Fund for the services of that year, and it is deemed expedient to appropriate the same in the manner hereinafter mentioned;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Final Appropriation (2020-2021) Act, 2022.
    Supplementary grant of $594,210,935
  2. The Accountant General may, on the warrant of the Minister or some person authorised by the Minister in writing, issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply for making good the sums granted for the supply of services for the year ended 31st March, 2021 the sum of five hundred and ninety-four million and two hundred and ten thousand, nine hundred and thirty-five dollars.
    Date on which grant takes effect
  3. The sum granted by this Act shall be deemed to have been granted on the 1st April, 2020 in addition to the sum granted by the Appropriation Act, 2020.
    Appropriation of sum granted
  4. The sum granted by this Act out of the Consolidated Fund for making good the sums granted for the purpose specified in section 2 shall be deemed to have been appropriated from 1st April, 2020 for the purposes specified in the Schedule.

An Act to grant an additional sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund and to appropriate the same for the services of the Island for the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2020.

[Commencement: 1st April, 2019]

WHEREAS the sum of money granted out of the Consolidated Fund by the Appropriation Act, 2019 for the services of the Island for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2020 has proved insufficient to meet the demands for such services;

AND WHEREAS certain Resolutions were passed during the Financial Year that ended 31st March, 2020 granting additional sums out of the Consolidated Fund for the services of that year, and it is deemed expedient to appropriate the same in the manner hereinafter mentioned;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Final Appropriation (2019-2020) Act, 2022.
    Supplementary grant of $175,092,593
  2. The Accountant General may, on the warrant of the Minister or some person authorised by the Minister in writing, issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply for making good the sums granted for the supply of services for the year ended 31st March, 2020 the sum of one hundred and seventy-five million and ninety-two thousand, five hundred and ninety-three dollars.
    Date on which grant takes effect
  3. The sum granted by this Act shall be deemed to have been granted on the 1st April, 2019 in addition to the sum granted by the Appropriation Act, 2019.
    Appropriation of sum granted
  4. The sum granted by this Act out of the Consolidated Fund for making good the sums granted for the purpose specified in section 2 shall be deemed to have been appropriated from 1st April, 2019 for the purposes specified in the Schedule.

An Act to grant a sum of money out of the Consolidated Fund and to appropriate the same for the service of Barbados for the financial year ending 31st March, 2023.

[Commencement: 1st April, 2022] ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 2022.
    Grant of $1,862,898,498
  2. The Accountant General may, on the warrant of the Minister or a person authorised by the Minister in writing, issue out of the Consolidated Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the financial year ending 31st March, 2023, a sum not exceeding in the aggregate$1,862,898,498.
    Appropriation
  3. The sum referred to in section 2 is hereby appropriated for the services and purposes set out in the Schedule in accordance with section 109(1) of the Constitution and is so appropriated as from 1st April, 2022.
    Date on which grant takes effect
  4. The date on which the grant of the sum referred to in section 2 takes effect, is 1st April, 2022.
