DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL
OFFICER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE
MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR ROAD
TRAFFIC UNDER REGULATION 88
OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS, 1984
1.
These directions may be cited as the Road Traffic (Barbados Rally Club, “BRC Shakedown Stages”) Directions, 2026.
2.
The following roads will be closed during the specified periods:
On Sunday March 29, 2026
(a)
Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the parish of Saint Lucy, the section of the road known as Cottage, commencing from the junction with Highway 1C, proceeding south-easterly on the said Cottage Road, turning east onto Alexandra Road, continuing in an easterly direction on Alexandra Road, and finishing at the junction with Highway B2 and Highway B4.
(b)
Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the parishes of Saint Andrew and Saint Peter, the section of the road known as Rock Hall Road, commencing from the said Rock Hall Road at the junction with Turners Hall/Swanns Road, proceeding southerly to Rock Hall Road, continuing in a westerly direction on Rock Hall Road, proceeding in a northerly then westerly direction along Black Bess Road and finishing 200m before Black Bess Village.

Any person who contravenes these directions or fails to comply with the orders given by a member of the Barbados Police Service in uniform commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.
4.
These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Barbados Police Service, the Barbados Fire Service or any Ambulance Service.
