DUTIES, TAXES AND OTHER PAYMENTS (EXEMPTION) (J.P. MORGAN SECURITIES LLC AND STANDARD CHARTERED BANK) ORDER, 2025
The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 4 of the Duties, Taxes and Other Payments (Exemption) Act, with the approval of the Cabinet, makes the following Order:
- This Order may be cited as the Duties, Taxes and Other Payments
(Exemption) (J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Standard Chartered Bank) Order, 2025.
- In this Order, “bonds” means the bonds in the sum of up to US$500
million issued by the Government of Barbados in the international capital market through J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Standard Chartered Bank, companies incorporated in accordance with the Laws of the United States of America and approved by Resolution of Parliament No. 10/2025.
- The principal, interest, charges, expenses and all other amounts
payable by the Government of Barbados in respect of the bonds and all documents and transactions related thereto shall be exempt from the payment of all duties, taxes and other imposts.
