Death of The Rt. Hon. Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, K.A., J.P.
It is announced with profound regret that The Rt. Hon. Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, K.A., J.P., former Prime Minister, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital during the morning of June 26, 2023.
A period of National Mourning will be observed from June 26 until June 28, 2023 and on the day of the funeral, Friday, July 14, 2023. Flags will be flown at half-mast until the interment.
A State Funeral for the late former Prime Minister will be held at St. Peter’s Parish
Church on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. The interment will take place at St. James Cemetery.
