of land described in the Schedules hereto and situate
at Bay Street in the parish of Saint Michael in this
Island are needed for purposes which in the opinion of
the Minister are public purposes, namely, recreation,
vending, beach access and car parking.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL THAT land the property of Savoy
Development (Barbados) Inc. situate at Bay Street in
the parish of Saint Michael in this Island containing
by estimation 1250.0 square metres Abutting and
Bounding to the north on a Public Road to the west
lands now or formerly of Carlisle Investments Inc. to
the south and east on other lands now or formerly of
Savoy Development (Barbados) Inc. or however else
the same may abut and bound.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL THAT land the property of Savoy
Development (Barbados) Inc. situate at Bay Street in
the parish of Saint Michael in this Island containing by
estimation 2460.0 square metres Abutting and Bounding
to the north on a Public Road to the west, south and east

**RESTORATION OF TITLE DEEDS DESTROYED BY DISASTER

OR OTHERWISE, OR LOST OR STOLEN**

NOTICE is hereby given that an Application is being made to the Registrar of
Titles for the Restoration of Title Deeds by DENISE ELAINE LAWRENCE of
7th Avenue New Orleans in the parish of St. Michael, the duly appointed Executrix and
Personal Representative of DAVID ANDERSON LAWRENCE for the Restoration of
the Title Deeds to 431.1 square metres of land situate at Fitts Village in the parish of
Saint James (more particularly described in the Schedule hereto) on the grounds that
the Original Title Deeds to the land have been lost.

NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN THAT unless notification is received by the
Registrar of Titles, Barbados Land Registry, ‘Warrens Office Complex’, Warrens, Saint
Michael on or before the 30th day of January, 2026 that the Title Deeds have not been
destroyed or are being lawfully held by some other person, the Registrar of Titles shall
immediately proceed to determine the said Application accordingly to law on receipt
of the said Application.

NOTICE NO. 1

Acting Appointment

The Hon. Madam Justice Margaret Reifer, Justice of
Appeal, has been appointed to act as Chief Justice for the
period 6th to 9th December, 2025.

Extension of Service

The Hon. Mr. Justice Anthony Blackman, temporary
Judge of the High Court, has been permitted to continue
in office until he attains the age of seventy (70) years, in
accordance with the provisions of Section 82 (3) of the
Constitution.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 84 (1A) of the
Constitution, the term of office of the Hon. Mr. Justice
Francis Belle, Justice of Appeal, has been extended until he
attains the age of seventy-one (71) years.

Duty Leave

The Most Honourable Leslie Haynes, F.B., Chief
Justice, has been granted three (3) days’ duty leave from
7th to 9th December, 2025, to attend the Caribbean Court of
Justice Trust Fund Board of Trustees’ Meeting, to be held on
8th December, 2025 in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Hon. Madam Justice Jacqueline Cornelius
Thorne, Justice of Appeal, has been granted four (4) days’
duty leave from 25th to 29th November, 2025, to attend
the 8th Biennial Conference of the CCJ Academy for
Law, to be held in Trinidad and Tobago from 26th to 28th
November, 2025.

Vacation Leave

Dr. the Hon. Mr. Justice H. Patrick Wells, Judge of
the High Court, has been granted ten (10) days’ vacation
leave as follows:
– five (5) days from 15th to 19th December, 2025; and
– five (5) days from 5th to 9th January, 2026.

The Hon. Madam Justice Victoria Charles-Clarke,
Justice of Appeal, has been granted thirteen (13) days’
vacation leave as follows:
– nine (9) days from 11th to 19th December, 2025; and
– four (4) days from 5th to 8th January, 2026.

The Hon. Madam Justice Jacqueline Cornelius
Thorne, Justice of Appeal, has been granted twenty-four
(24) days’ vacation leave as follows:
– five (5) days from 5th to 9th January, 2026; and
– nineteen (19) days from 22nd June, 2026 to 10th July,
2026.
