LAND ACQUISITION ACT, CAP. 228
(Notice under Section 5)
The acquisition for public purposes of the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto having been decided on by the Minister responsible for Lands with the approval of both Houses of Parliament it is hereby declared in pursuance of Section 5 of the Land Acquisition Act, Cap. 228 that the said parcel of land has been acquired for the public purpose of constructing a District Hospital.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT land the property of Caribbean Consultants Ltd., situate at Lot 5A, Waterford in the parish of Saint Michael in this Island containing by admeasurement 13 025.7 square metres (inclusive of 265.4 square metres of verge) abutting and bounding on the ABC Highway Road Reserve (which separates the said land from the ABC Highway) on lands now or formerly of the Barbados Government on a road and on a road reserve 7.92 metres wide or however else the same may abut and abound as delineated and shown on a Plan certified on the 8th day of February, 2023 by Alex R. Chandler, Land Surveyor and recorded in the Lands and Surveys Department on the 9th day of February, 2023 as Plan No. 216/2023.
