HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

RESOLVED that the sum of ONE HUNDRED AND THREE MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED AND

NINETY-TWO DOLLARS be granted from the Consolidated Fund and be placed at the disposal of the Government to supplement the Estimates 2021-2022 as shown in the Supplementary Estimates No. 2, 2021-2022 which form the Schedule to this Resolution.

RESOLVED that Parliament in accordance with section 5 of the Crown Lands (Vesting and Disposal) Act, Cap. 225, approve the vesting in the National Housing Corporation of the parcel of land situate at Whitepark Road and Country Road in the parish of Saint Michael in this Island and more particularly described in the Schedule.

ALL THAT land the property of the Crown situate at Whitepark Road and Country Road in the parish of Saint Michael in this Island namely Lot 1 (together with the buildings thereon) containing by admeasurement 11400.0 square metres (inclusive of 15.0 square metres in road reserve) abutting and bounding on lands now or formerly of The Wesleyan Holiness Church, on lands now or formerly of the Barbados Government, on lands now or formerly of Economical Homes Company Ltd. on lands now or formerly of the Barbados Government (Lot 2) on lands now or formerly of Country Road Investments Ltd. on lands now or formerly of the National Housing Corporation, on other lands of the Barbados Government (Drain) and on a road known as Whitepark Road which leads to Bridgetown in one direction and Bank Hall in the other direction or however else the same may abut and bound as shown and delineated on a plan certified on the 13th day of October, 2020 by Samuel N. Taylor, Land Surveyor and recorded on the 10th day of November, 2020 in the Lands and Surveys Department as Plan No. 1354/2020.

An Act to validate the conduct of a listing exercise during the periods 7th June, 2021 to 11th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2021 to 6th July, 2021.

[Commencement: 26th August, 2021] ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:

STATISTICS (VALIDATION OF LISTING EXERCISE) ACT, 4 2021-20

Short title 1.

Act, 2021.

This Act may be cited as the Statistics (Validation of Listing Exercise)

Validation

2.(1)

The conduct of a listing exercise during the periods 7th June, 2021 to

11th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2021 to 6th July, 2021 by persons referred to in subsections (3) and (4) shall be deemed to have been lawfully and validly conducted as if conducted pursuant to regulation 3 of the Statistics (Listing Exercise) Regulations, 2021 (S.I. 2021 No. 51).

  1. The collection of statistical information from the public by persons referredto in subsection (3) during the periods 7th June, 2021 to 11th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2021 to 6th July, 2021 shall be deemed to have been lawfully and validly collected as if collected pursuant to regulation 3 of the Statistics (Listing Exercise) Regulations, 2021 (S.I. 2021 No. 51).
  2. Persons who
    1. were approved and notified by the Crown as persons to be appointed as listing officers for the purpose of conducting a listing exercise; and
    2. conducted a listing exercise and collected statistical information from the public during the periods 7th June, 2021 to 11th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2021 to 6th July, 2021,shall be deemed to have been lawfully and validly appointed as if appointed pursuant to regulation 5 of the Statistics (Listing Exercise) Regulations, 2021 (S.I. 2021 No. 51).
  3. Persons who
    1. were approved and notified by the Crown as persons to be appointed as listing supervisors and senior listing supervisors for the purpose of a listing exercise; and
    2. during the periods 7th June, 2021 to 11th June, 2021 and 1st July, 2021 to 6th July, 2021, supervised a listing exercise conducted by persons referred to in subsection (3) and the collection of statistical information from the public by such persons,

shall be deemed to have been lawfully and validly appointed as if appointed pursuant to regulation 5 of the Statistics (Listing Exercise) Regulations, 2021 (S.I. 2021 No. 51).
