Notice under Section 16

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR BARBADOS

Submission of Objections or Representations

Notice is hereby given for the submission of objections or representations regarding the amendments to the Physical Development Plan (Amended 2003), as detailed hereunder.

The Draft Physical Development Plan (Amended 2023) was submitted to the Minister on 25th May 2023 and embodies further changes to the draft document that was made available to the public as a 2017 amendment.

Copies of the Physical Development Plan are available for public inspection from 18th August 2023 on the Planning and Development Department Website: www.planning.gov.bb; the GIS website: www.gisbarbados.gov.bb; and at the undermentioned places at the time specified for each place:

  1. Planning and Development Department Monday to Friday 1st Floor, Warrens Office Complex 8:15 hrs. – 16:15 hrs. Warrens, St. Michael.
  2. Main Library Monday to Saturday Independence Square, Bridgetown 09:30 hrs. – 17:00 hrs.

Branch Libraries Monday to Friday

  1. Speightstown, St. Peter 09:00 hrs. – 13:00 hrs.
    14:00 hrs. – 16:00 hrs.
  2. Holetown, St. James 09:00 hrs. – 13:00 hrs.
    14:00 hrs. – 17:00 hrs.

Any objection or representation may be sent in writing to the Director of Planning and Development by e-mail at PDP2023@planning.gov.bb or delivered to the Planning and Development Department, Warrens Office Complex, Warrens BB12001 on or before Friday 15th September 2023. Any such objection or representation should state the grounds on which it is made, and where the objection or representation relates to a specific area of land, should identify the land to which it relates.
