A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section 47 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 2021
(Act 2021-31) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to
be fixed by Proclamation;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 15th day of April, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 15th day of April, 2022 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.

WHEREAS by section 133 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2019
(Act 2019-1), it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be
fixed by Proclamation:

AND WHEREAS the said Act, with the exception of certain provisions, came into operation on the 29th day of July, 2019;
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the remainder of the Act shall come into operation on the 15th day of April, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and the authority in me vested, I, The Most Honourable Dame Sandra Prunella Mason, Freedom of Barbados, Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Dame of Saint Andrew, Queen’s Counsel, Doctor of Laws, President of Barbados, do hereby appoint the 15th day of April, 2022 as the day on which sections 67–73, 92, 104, 105, 106, 110 and 116 of the Act shall come into operation.
