COMMISSIONS OF INQUIRY (CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM COMMISSION WARRANT OF APPOINTMENT) (VARIATION) (NO. 2) ORDER, 2024
The President, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 8(1) of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, makes the following Order:
- This Order may be cited as the Commissions of Inquiry (Constitutional Reform Commission Warrant of Appointment) (Variation) (No. 2) Order, 2024.
2. The Constitutional Reform Commission Warrant of Appointment issued on the 20th day of June, 2022 is varied by deleting paragraph (e) of the first direction beginning with the words “AND I DO DIRECT that you” and substituting the following:
“(e) present the written report to the President of Barbados by 30th September, 2024.”.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section 7 of the Law Revision and Law Reform (Amendment) Act, 2024 (Act 2024-6) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation;
AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 1st day of July, 2024;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 1st day of July, 2024 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.
