DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR ROAD
TRAFFIC UNDER REGULATION 88 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, 1984
- These directions may be cited as the Road Traffic (Vaucluse Raceway Motor Sport Club Inc. “Barbados Motorsport Island Stages Rally 2023”) Directions, 2023.
- The following roads will be closed during the specified period:
On Sunday November 26, 2023
(a) Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the parish of Saint Joseph and Saint George the section of road known as Orange Grove, commencing from the junction with Bowling Alley Hill, proceeding in a southerly direction on Easy Hall road, continuing southerly on Wilson Hill road, proceeding in a south westerly direction onto Clayburn Road, continuing in a westerly direction to Sweetvale road and finishing in a south westerly direction at Redland road.
- Any person who contravenes these directions or fail to comply with the orders given by a member of the Barbados Police Service in uniform, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.
- These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Barbados Police Service, the Fire Service or any Ambulance Service.
