A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section 15 of the Protection of Agricultural Products Act, 2022 (Act 2022-14) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 6th day of March, 2023;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 6th day of March, 2023 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.
