An Act to amend the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Act, Cap. 54.
[Commencement: 12th May, 2022] ENACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follows:
Short title
- This Act may be cited as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Amendment) Act, 2022.
QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSPITAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2022-6
Insertion of section 23A into Cap. 54 - The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act, is amended by inserting immediately after section 23 the following new section:
“Amendment of Schedules
23A.(1) The Minister may by order amend the Schedules.
(2) An order made under subsection (1) is subject to negative resolution.”.
Amendment of the First Schedule to Cap. 54
- The First Schedule to the principal Act is amended by deleting paragraph 1(1) and substituting the following:
“1.(1) The Board shall consist of 15 members who shall be appointed by the Minister by instrument in writing.”.
