    RESOLVED that Her Excellency the President be asked to assent and take the necessary steps given to effect this Resolution.

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by section 49 of the Liquor Licences Act, 2021 (Act 2021-8) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 1st day of April, 2022;

NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 1st day of April, 2022 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.

Statistics Act CAP. 192

CENSUS (POPULATION AND HOUSING) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2022

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the

Statistics Act, makes the following Order:

  1. This Order may be cited as the Census (Population and Housing)(Amendment) Order, 2022.
  2. A census of all the inhabitants and their places of residence inBarbados shall continue to be taken between 1st April, 2022 and 30th September, 2022.
  3. This Order shall take effect from the 1st day of April, 2022.
