A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by section 31 of the Whistleblower Protection Act, 2021 (Act 2021-29) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 15th day of February, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 15th day of February, 2022 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.

WHEREAS by section 24 of the Remediation Agreements (Deferred Prosecutions) Act, 2021 (Act 2021-28) it is provided that the Act shall come into operation on a date to be fixed by Proclamation;

AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Act comes into operation on the 15th day of February, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE by virtue of the power and authority in me vested, I hereby appoint the 15th day of February, 2022 as the day on which the Act shall come into operation.
