National Petroleum Corporation Act CAP. 280

NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (SUPPLY OF NATURAL GAS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2022

The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 21 of the National Petroleum Corporation Act, makes the following Regulations:

  1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Petroleum Corporation (Supply of Natural Gas) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022.
  2. The National Petroleum Corporation (Supply of Natural Gas) Regulations (S.I. 2004 No. 140) is amended by deleting the Second and Third Schedules and substituting therefor the Second and Third Schedules set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
  3. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of April, 2022.

DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE MINISTER RESPONSIBLE FOR ROAD

TRAFFIC UNDER REGULATION 88 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS, 1984

  1. These directions may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motoring Club Barbados, Inc. “Rally of the Sun & Stars”) Directions, 2022.
  2. The following roads will be closed during the specified period:
    On Saturday September 10, 2022
    1. Between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in the parish of Saint John, the section of road known as Roebuck Street road, commencing from its junction with Pool road (Highway 3B), proceeding in a southerly direction on the said Roebuck Street road, continuing in an easterly and southerly direction on the said Roebuck Street road, proceeding in an easterly and southerly direction on Ashford road, continuing in an easterly direction on Guinea road, proceeding in a southerly direction on Cliff road and finishing at the junction with Cliff Tenantry road.
    2. Between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in the parish of Saint George, the section of road known as Windsor road, commencing from the junction with Lower Greys road,

    proceeding in a northerly direction on the said Windsor road, continuing in a westerly and northerly direction on the said Windsor road, proceeding in a north easterly and northerly direction on Brighton road, continuing in a westerly, northerly and easterly direction on Brighton Tenantry road, proceeding in a northerly direction on Brighton road, continuing in an easterly direction on Brighton Ridge road, proceeding in a southerly direction on St. Lukes Chapel road, continuing in an easterly direction on Melverton road (Highway 4B) and finishing at the junction with Melverton Tenantry road.
  3. Any person who contravenes these directions or fails to comply with the orders given by a member of the Barbados Police Service in uniform, commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.
  4. These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Barbados

Police Service, the Fire Service or any  Ambulance Service.
